Honestly, guys, I don't know why I made that implication because that is exactly the opposite of how I feel. Gender equality is still a very serious issue all over the world. While we've made some progress in America, we're still far from where we should be, and the rest of the world is little better, if at all. Things like the above do nothing to help.

So I've edited the line to reflect this. For those of you who don't want to hunt it down, here's how it goes:

Let me assure you that this is not due to any lack of desire on my part. In addition to a host of little reasons, there are two big reasons why you've seen a cessation in the writing of MM6.

1.) The computer I had the document on is having odd problems. Basically, it can't be charged until we get that fixed; meaning that it can't be turned on; meaning that I can't get the document; meaning that I can't write from where I was. I can redo some of the chapters I had written, but I can't just pick up where I was.

2.) I've been literally homeless for the last week or so. I've been sleeping outside and such, so writing was not on my to-do list. That's over with for now, though.

Ask any questions you have here and I'll answer them as best I can. Any other discussion about the topic is fine, too.

So, any suggestions/speculation you want to throw out about it, you can do that here.

Also, if there are any nagging questions you have that you think could be answered in the DrodeChron (like "Din't Azmaveth says something about the Drode being involved in the Three-Kingdoms ere and doesn't capnnerefir need to shut up about that?"), you can also bring that up here. I want this one to answer a lot of questions about stuff, so please let me know.

What does this mean for Neomorphs? Absolutely nothing, as far as I know. Maybe they'll see how many fics I wrote and I'll get a pat on the back, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Now, in case anyone here feels that KAA and MG should be told of this series' existence, you should know that I will not be the one to tell them about it. Shoving my fanfics in the faces of the original authors seems to be lacking in taste to me. If you want to tell them that Neomorphs exists, that's entirely your perogative, but I want the record to show that while I would be very grateful, I in no way request than anyone do any such thing.

Oh; and this also means that I chose some of the coolest authors for inspiration. I know that, say, Rowling isn't visiting her fans; and she certainly won't do it several years after she finally stops whipping the dead horse that is the Harry Potter universe.

So what can we do? It's possible that a new Animorphs series would be similar to Neomorphs. And if Scholastic wants to know whether or not people would be interested in more Animorphs, then one place they could look is at how Neomorphs goes over with people. So what I'm asking is something very simple. If you've ever read Neomorphs, please just post your name (a screenname is fine) in this thread.

Also, if you want to cram Neomorphs down the throats of any Anifans you happen to know, that'd help out, too. ;) - capnnerefir

Season 1 is from books 55 to 64.

Season 2 is from books 65 to 74.

The reasons for this are purely organizational. They help me gather my thoughts as to what to do when, where, and why.

As for why I'm ending seasons at books 64 and 74, there are a couple of reasons for this.

Partially, it's because my OCD makes me want to end a season every 10 books, but I'm trying not to get toooo bogged down in that. More importantly, though, it's because the events of those books have a huge impact on future ones, even moreso than others. Book 64 is the book where Ax is freed and Rachel begins her vacation from the Animorphs. Huge events there. The events of book 74 will likewise be enormous.

What does this mean for you? Absolutely nothing, really. It's just a minor organizational change.

Now, here's why this interest me: as far as I know, the only place someone could get Santorelli as a last name for Rachel is from Neomorphs (as it will be her last name after she marries Tobias - and it is hist last name because according to all human records, Santorelli is his father and Santorelli is Santorelli's last name - ). So I'm just wondering: who is it that's bringing my charries to Facebook?

It makes me giggle, and I feel flattered. I'd just like to know who to thank.

• Guraff once kicked an Andalite in the head. That Andalite suffered severe brain damange. That Andalte was Prince Seerow.

• A Yeerk whose host drinks Guraff's tears will no longer need the Kandrona. Luckily for us, Guraff does not cry.

• Guraff once hit someone so hard, the force of the blow and the resulting impact on the body of that unfortunate individual broke all laws of physics. Thus Z-space was formed.

• The Yeerks evolved to live in the heads of other species. This is because even in Yeerk form, Guraff is too terrifying to be around for long.

• The Howlers never remember being defeated; that's because Guraff leaves no one around to remember.

• Alloran didn't unleash a Quantum virus on the Hork-bajir world; he just pissed off Guraff.

• Guraff once had a human host. That human host was killed. Three days later, that host got back up, said his peace, and disappeared. Today, we know that host as Jesus.

• Said an Andalite to Guraff. <Surrender. You are surrounded by an entire platoon of Andaltie warriors and we are pointing the weapons of a Dome ship at you.> Said Guraff, "That's cute."

• Anyone who suggests fighting Guraff is automatically discharged from the Andalite military on a section 8.

• Guraff invented the concept of infinity; someone once asked him how many people it would take to beat him.

• Guraff had sex only once, during an adventure involving the Time Matrix. We now know that event as the Big Bang.

And my personal favorite:

• Guraff once killed three Andalites; and then he got a host.

You can use this thread for whatever Guraff-related things you have to say.

Love him, hate him, couldn't care less? Was he an effective character? Were you sorry to see him go? Did he make you think about anything fresh and fun?

I'd just like to know.

I'd appreciate any suggestions you have to offer. In the mean time, here are some ideas I'm considering. They're only in the most basic stages in my head, so don't get too excited. I may not use any of them at all.

• A Ssri'Kai. May or may not have been the host of an Apostate at one point. I'd like to have a freed Apostate host, but that might be a bit too unbalancing. (and for the record, I had this idea before Elfangor suggested it on AFF. John3Sobieski can confirm this if you hunt him down and ask.)

• A humanized Andalite. One who spent a good deal of time on Earth after the Yeerks were defeated. I'm thinking an Andalite with things like pierced ears (or other piercings, if I go for more of a punk look), fur dyed non-Andalite colors, and maybe a penchant for wearing hats; or even specially tailored Andalite clothes. Possibly female.

That's all I really have in my mind at the moment, though I'm also thinking of some other characters I have from outside of Neomorphs (like Prince Ilsagoth from Animorphs: A Second Chance.

Suggestions are great, but let me be clear about what I mean by suggestions: don't suggest a specific character to me. Then it wouldn't be my character. Rather, think about what Neomorphs seems to be missing. There are all sorts of people out there, and so far I've only played with a small segment of them. Really think about what's missing and let me know. I'll try to work those ideas into a new character (or two; but only if you're good).

Now, you needn't fear for the fate of the series. I am by no means abandoning it. I simply could not do that; there are too many things I want to do before this is all over. But I needed some time to work on my other projects, and life got very busy.

I can make no promises as to when I will resume publication of the series, but I can tell you that you will be informed about it as soon as I do.
