Hm… Sergio as an Animorph would be pretty funny. A drunk Russian man running around with the morphing power. If he DOES ever get the morphing power and a bear morph, maybe he could have a polar bear morph.
For a completely new character, I think a somehow-free Ssri'Kai would be interesting. I DO happen to keep those I have already used at hand, like this one named Sashu 729… (Sashu's originally from an RP, killed him off.) I also don't mind when others use my OCs… Wow, I am rambling.
Pretty much, I'm cool with a Ssri'Kai or you using Sashu 729.

Cherry: that really depends on how you define honor…. Sergio's actions would certainly be justified in his own mind, and would probably make enough twisted sense that we could all get behind it if we wanted to.

Blueberry: Polar bears are Win, and I very well might use that as a morph for someone in the future.

I'll pass on Sashu. I want completely original characters in Neomorphs. I'm not even using characters from my own RPs (and I've got quite a few characters stashed away in various RPs).

Ah, yes, now I remember. I definitely like that idea and I'm probably going to go for it (though naturally I will not say anything official on the subject). Don't know if I could bring myself to maim a fedora, though….Maybe if he/she just wore it kinda off to the side. Covering one stalk eye is worth it for that kind of style, don't you think?

well, id like to see that of course, but i dont think Ax should just fall in love, he should probably hate her for forsaking her own race. but she should come on to him a lot and get really close to him. add some Andalite intoxication, a little confession to her of how much Ax hates himself over what happened to Yahtzee, and her comforting him while trying to win him over.

I like to think that I can't make Ax do anything, emotionally. I can nudge him in a certain direction or put him in situations where it'll have the desired outcome, but I definitely won't inexplicably have him fall for a chick who is totally not his type.

That said, who's to say that he doesn't have a girl back on the Homeworld? (Well, me, actually. Who knows, though? I might throw you one)

Al is also not in a relationship, so it seems to just be the aliens. Which makes sense since, at this point, there really aren't any females of their species around.

That said, Cherry has pretty much written out how it'd probably go down, so you can thank her for that one.

Not at the moment. I try not to name characters before I'm sure I'm going to use them. If I name them, I get sort of attached to them. So I'd rather not name any characters I haven't definitively decided to use. Although the Andalite chick will most likely be involved, I'm still not ready to commit to that officially, so I don't want to get attached.

i feel quite the same actually. so have we established that the Andalite is a girl yet?

p.s. i was wondering if i could send you a rough draft of a fic im working on. im really proud of it and was hoping to get your input on it to see if it was a good start.

If I bring in a new Andalite, she will indeed be female. I don't have enough female characters as it is.

And yes, you can send me the draft. I'm rather busy with schoolwork, so I don't know when exactly I'll be able to read it, though I'll try my best to get it done before Monday. This weekend isn't very busy for me, so I think I'll be able to manage it. The Contact tab at the top bar menu should give you all the information you need to send it to me.

Now, I'm still open to brand new suggestions. If anyone's got something they think the group needs (for example, someone who would question Jake's morals), you're encouraged to bring it up.

what do you mean? a new character who questions his morals or our own personal thoughts on his morals?

I mean neither. I mean, the Ssri'Kai and Andalite chick ideas are great, but they are far from the only options for new characters. I've got several other great ideas for characters (though admittedly they aren't as easy to discuss) in addition to those. But I want to hear from readers what you think the group needs. Does it seem to you that the Omegamorphs would benefit from any particular type of character? Do you think there's something the Alphamorphs could use? Do you ever read one of the fics and think, "Why doesn't someone just…" That's what I'm looking for.

well in that case, you could have the Ssri'kai being lectured by jake on morphing sentients with out permission, until the Ssri'kai comes back with, "If you are fighting a war, and the other side has a stolen warship. would it not be fair to use the schematics of that ship to make one of you own?" because i've been waiting for someone to shut him up about that since K.A. was writing these books, i mean come on man, your creating a new body from your own body and its DNA, your not stealing the original.

See, that's what I"m talking about. Jake needs someone who's going to call him on that sort of thing. Just like Tobias needs someone to tell him when he's getting too ruthless (even if he won't listen). But what else is needed?

well, introducing a non-infested morph capable Hork-Bajir would be nice. cant say i approve of him/her being mental. but we definatly need to see some different alien animorphs aside from Andalites. nothing wrong with them, it just that they are getting old and id like to see somthing fresh. which is why i really like the Ssr'kia character.

Well, I wouldn't make the Hork mentally deficient; at least, no more so than any other Hork-bajir. It'd be interesting, having a character who is no more intelligent than a small child. I'd also like to see aliens other than Andalites. They've become almost common for us.

I've considered a 'good' Yeerk, but they'd either be a.) like Aftran, who I hate or b.) basically a Guraff clone - at least in mentality. There are logistical problems with that, too, like feeding the Yeerk and stuff. It's…something that I really probably won't do.

as long as the hork bajir isnt a seer. people use those too much. how about one who was raised in an orphanage and is about as smart as a typical human? he could even have a human name and talk like one.

Well, one of the reasons for the low Hork-bajir intelligence is genetic. 99% of the population is limited in their intelligence. Now me, I ascribe to the Reaction Range theory, in which intellectual potential is genetic and intellectual reality is based on environment. Thus, a Hork-bajir raised among Hork-bajir would be your average hork. A Hork raised among humans, though smarter than the average Hork, would not be as intelligent as the average human.

It could clean up the vocabulary, though, which would be nice.

I think a Hork-Bajir that was raised in an orphanage would be quite unique. But, how would the Hork-Bajir end up in an orphanage? That's my question.
Answer to own question: Maybe the Hork-Bajir saw his/her parents being killed(?) and ran for their life. After running for awhile he/she came across said orphanage, where someone was looking out the window and saw the young Hork-Bajir.

It's possible, though I would think that anyone who found a little lost Hork-bajir would contact the government about sending it back with the other Hork-bajir.

Another possibility is that, instead of an orphanage, said Hork is found by a human couple (we'll say a gay couple just because these days, if you don't have one, you're a biggot and since this is purely hypothetical at this stage, I'll bow to the whims of the media) who, for whatever the reason (in this case basic biology) cannot have children of their own. They adopt this Hork-bajir child instead and raise it as their own. They would probably have to keep it secret, since I'd imagine keeping aliens around is illegal, so they'd have him/her home-schooled. The Hork would still get a human-style education, and thus reach its maximum intelligence.

not excactly what i had in mind but okay. i was thinking since Hork-Bajirs mature faster than humans that it would be about maximum hight yet still in high school with alloran and david. you never know, it could have been approved by the governtment to help the 2 species bond with each other. how bout that for some logic

Hork-Bajir are my favorite race, random fact. So yeah, I'd be doing a mental happy dance at the least if one joined the Neomorphs. I have nothing else to say as of this time. Maybe later.

I like the idea personally because you never see any main Hork-Bajir characters. just minor ones.

I think Toby was the only main Hork-Bajir character in Animorphs, and she hasn't appeared in the Neomorphs series. (Well, once that I know of, but I wasn't completely sure and her name wasn't mentioned.) Wait… doesn't Toby have a little brother? Aw… Now my mind has started working and I'm probably going to type alot… Anyways, aww now I don't know what to say besides maybe Tobias is morphed as a hawk (reminicsing some memories?) and he's watching Toby trying to find the other character (who said the new person had to be an adult? well, maybe someone did, but I don't think I found that in the chat. And maybe Toby is keeping an eye on the character.) And they bump into some controllers who were patrolling the area, maybe some Kelbrid and Guraff? (Hehe I highly support Guraff/Toby and Kelbrid alone would kind of cause issues, right?)

Well, I've been trying to work Toby into the series (I had her in y original plan for 73, but now it's looking like that won't quite work out; still working on it, though.) and this gives me an idea about the Horks.

Toby wouldn't let her people get treated any different from humans, really. So I'm thinking she engineers a program to send some Horks to human schools. They get a healthy dose of human culture and education. *shrug* Kinda takes away the Hork-raised-by-humans fun bit, though…

Anyhow, the Horks live in Yellowstone, which Tobias wouldn't just happen to be flying by (Alpha Front is considerably farther East). The ideas has potential, though… I'll need to do some more contemplation when I'm not totally exhausted.

Hm… Well, I don't excactly know where the two fronts are, so not a big surprise that I messed up. So, I'm guessing that the Omegamorphs are on the Pacific Coast and the Alphamorphs are on the East Coast. I thought it was the other way around because the Animorphs were in Cali during the First War, and D.C really would be the last place people would want to lose to the Yeerks.

Yeah, the actual location of Alpha front is a pretty closely guarded secret. There are some clues that can help you figure out that they're pretty far apart though. For example: in book 72, the Omegamorphs call the Alphamorphs. The Omegamorphs are sitting down to breakfast; the Alphamorphs are having lunch.

True, DC would be about the worst place to lose, but that's not where either invasion is.

Megamorphs 6, which will come some time after book 74. If things go as planned, it will be between 74 and 75.

I really can't answer that question in any definitive manner except to say that, if and when this or these character(s) are introduced it will be post-book 74.

Those are the suggestions being thrown around, yes.

None of the new ones, as of this time, are related to any of the current Aniorphs.

well that kinda a given one, no hork or ssri'kia animorphs and ax and al didn't mention any sister's or cousins so the female andalite is out.

quick thought. i really like the idea but the ssri'kia as a team member is kinda nagging at my head, he seems like a lil to much of a power house right?

Playing with Ssri'Kai can be a dangerous thing to do. I'll have to be careful about that so that that particular character doesn't become too powerful. But I think I can probably handle it. Though if I do slip up a bit on that, be sure to call me on it.

As for introduction ceremonies…I haven't quite decided yet. I like to have a lot of things planned out long in advance - but I also like to wing it with a lot of stuff. This is one of the latter times. I won't know that until I actually write it.
